About

Hey, I am Kyle Fasanella. I was born the second largest natural birth in the history of Milford CT.

From an early age I loved shooting, and eventually went on to shooting my own movies. I love that I can look back at all the days I have put into film and see every second of my work.  Yet I don’t have mountains of stuff to carry around my whole life thanks to the digital revolution. As a scientist I look at film as hands on time and space with the manipulation of photons. I believe in constantly improving by questioning what I do and how I do it.

I fell in love with moving shots in my own films, and after enough walking-hand-held video, and research, I decided to do it right. I got certified in steadicam, and purchased the Steadicam Flyer.

For the next 3 years I studied for a BA Degree in Cinema Studies at the university of Central Florida. After graduations I was accepted to UCF’s prestigious limited access BFA program. I then spent another 3 years studying Cinematography production in Orlando while spending my summers on film productions in NYC. Now that I have my dual film majors I have set up shop in NYC permanently.

I used to only do Steadicam for the pure love of it, but now its my business.  Since then I have worked  for MTV’s College Humor Show, The Drums (music video), Indy Mogul, and many more. I love to travel and take reduced rates for jobs in far off lands. As a Certified steadicam operator few can match what I can do visually.

I love my work, and believe in making work that outlast me. I adore the immortality of digital video. Thousands of years from now nothing will tell people of the future more information about us then video. I like to think filmmakers like myself will be thought of as a historical archivers.

I  exercise, pratice yoga and conduct healthy eating habits for dedication to Steadicaming. I don’t slow down, even at extreme long hours typical of film sets.  Check out some of my work on this site and you will know that I am the best for whatever camera work you need done.
